Jan was the beloved salesperson at Vollmecke Farm and Orchards for many years.

Jan is survived by her five children, John (and Christie) Vollmecke, Teresa Vollmecke, Robert (and Estelle) Vollmecke, Karl Vollmecke, and Karen Vollmecke; her cousin, Buddy Parker; her niece, Pam Moreland Lucas; and her nephews, Michael Moreland, Erik Vollmecke and Kirk Vollmecke.

She was an avid learner, well-read and active in local political campaigns throughout the years.

She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, beauty, and joyfulness.

Marilyn is survived by her daughter Susan, her husband Bob, and their daughters Claire and Sydney of Evergreen, Col., as well as son Tim, his wife Beth and their twins Caroline and Walker of Washington, D. Though her siblings and husband had passed, she was blessed to be very close to her nieces Lisa, Linda and Jennifer, her nephews Bill and Jeff, extended family, and amazing lifelong friends.

She always said her love for the ocean and a California life drew her there.
